Total and permanent disability

Total and permanent disability insurance protects you if you are permanently unable to work or work as you did previously through sickness or injury.

  • This provides a lump sum if you are unable to work in any occupation to which you are suited taking into account your education, training and experience.
  • The injury does not have to be work related and the sort of diseases that are covered are very wide ranging. Typical conditions covered include road accidents, heart attack, cancer, mental illness, chronic fatigue and accidents at home.
